My journey in music began at a young age, when my family took me to concerts at places that shaped Istanbul’s cultural life, such as the Harbiye Open Air Theatre and the Atatürk Cultural Center.

Music was always present in the house where I grew up. On weekends, and often on ordinary weekdays, different sounds and styles filled the rooms.

During middle school and high school, I became a more active and selective listener through rock and metal music, and I started playing the drums.

Over time, I realized that music was not just something I enjoyed listening to. It had become a way of life. The instruments I played and the styles I listened to changed over the years, but one thing always remained the same: my passion for music.

My interest in films and games also became a way for me to step away from the pace of daily life. Eventually, that interest led me back to music — to the idea of creating sounds, moods, and stories that could live together with visuals.

In recent years, I have been developing my interest in composing soundtracks and soundscapes, with the goal of taking it from a personal passion to a professional level.

I am still at the beginning of this path, but I am walking it with the desire to share the sounds, stories, and imagined worlds in my mind.

If you would like to join me on this journey — as a listener, collaborator, or project partner — I would be happy to connect.
In the house I grew up in, it was always possible to hear various sounds of music on weekends or different days of the week.

During my middle school and high school years, I started to become a more active and selective music lover by listening to rock and metal music and starting to play the drums.

In the following years, I realized that music had become a way of life for me, not just a collection of sounds that I enjoyed listening to. So much so that even though the instruments I played and the types of music I listened to changed and took on different names, there was only one thing that remained constant: My passion for music.

My interest in movies and games became a back door for me to escape from the consuming pace of daily life.

Eventually this back door would open into the previously familiar gardens. Plains consisting of tones that I want to combine with visuals.

I have recently started working to take my interest in composing soundtracks and soundscapes, which I have been pursuing as a hobby for a few years, to a professional level.

I am walking on this path, where I have just taken my first steps, to present the sounds and fictions of my dreams to people.

If you would like to accompany me on this path, as a listener or a project partner, I would be happy to do so.

I appreciate and admire many iconic and well-known composers, including but not limited to John Williams, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson-Williams, Marco Beltrami, Michael Giacchino, Tom Holkenborg — also known as Junkie XL — Brian Tyler, Jerry Goldsmith, Howard Shore, and many others.

Although these names are listed in no particular order, John Williams is my favorite composer among them. His ability to create iconic themes for films, and the way he communicates through his music, is simply incredible.

Outside the world of soundtracks and film themes, I also have many other favorite artists and musicians, including classical and Romantic-era composers and some names from the popular culture and jazz music such as Michael Jackson, ABBA, Miles Davis, Marcus Miller, Jan Garbarek and many more.
